  - Track payments received and update customer account balances
  - Monitor outstanding invoices 
Accounts Payable:
  - Record vendor invoices received during the month
  - Track payments to vendors and  update balances
Payroll Processing:
  - Third-party payroll subscription 
  - Record payroll transactions and reconcile payroll accounts
  - Withhold and remit payroll taxes

  - Post all financial transactions to the general ledger
